The Kegons are monoblock power amplifiers using a pair of 300B directly heated triodes in parallel single ended configuration. They are currently the highest level amplifier that Audio Note make where the valves are contained completely within casing, making them ideal for uses who do not want exposed tubes. As you'd expect of an amplifier at this level the component quality is exceptional, including fully silver wound audio transformers.

Three different versions are produced, the standard gain and low gain model detailed here and the balanced, which due to its higher price and design difference has its own page.

The low gain version is ideal for users with very high efficiency speakers and/or a high gain pre amplifier, where noise may become an issue.
