This stylus is the same as supplied on the AT-VM95SP cartridge, but it can be fitted to any of the AT-VM95 series of cartridge bodies (please note the tracking force on the tonearm will need to be increased when using the 78rpm stylus). It must not be used on 33 and 45rpm records. For the best results a Mono cable or mono button are required.
If features a 3mil conical tip designed to minimise surface noise, and is intended for use on 78rpm records only (also called Short Play records, hence the SP part of the model name.
