CEC TL2N CD Transport (Click & Collect Only)

The TL2N is the middle model in the CEC line. Inside it uses a twin belt drive mechanism combined with a high quality bearing and a high mass (380gm) brass clamp. Outputs include AES/EBU, coaxial, optical and CEC's own Superlink. It has switchable upsampling too (although we prefer to use it in CDs native 44.1kHz) .It is available in either Silver or Black finish.

Over the TL5N featured above, this model includes various technical refinements, arguably most importantly including belt drive for the laser sled as well as for spinning the disc.

Sonically it’s also offers more of the same - the CEC flow and musicality are there in abundance but here there’s even greater dynamics and resolution. There’s more punch and better separation where instruments overlap, allowing you to follow the musicians with even greater ease.

Like all the current CEC transport models this is an exceptionally special way to listen to CDs and is very heartily recommended.
