Michell Tecnodec Turntable

The Tecnodec takes many of the elements from the Gyrodec and makes a more affordable entry into the work of Michell turntables.

The commonality starts with the platter, with the same vinyl like material used as on the Gyrodec just without the brass weights, this offers the same great impedance matched coupling to the LP itself. A record clamp is included which helps reduce the severity of many warped LPs. The motor is free standing and housed in a machined from billet aluminium housing. 

The chassis is acrylic and is unsuspended, with vibration absorbing adjustable feet used instead. The main bearing is a smaller version of the inverted design found in the rest of the range, again offering low noise and low friction.

The turntable is available without an arm, the standard armboard is cut for a Rega (it'll take both single point and three point Rega arms) or with various suggested combinations but naturally if need some different please just let us know. Custom arm boards are available to special order at an additional cost, just let us know what you require and we can get a price for you..

The turntable has a well written instruction manual making easy setup possible for the keen amateur, but naturally we are always happy to assemble and setup the deck either for collection by car (not courier!) or for us to install.

This deck can be upgraded with the Michell HR power supply for improved performance.
