The SPU #1E is the second model up within the famous SPU range of cartridges and features a bonded elliptical stylus rather than the spherical on the 'S' version.
The sound is classic SPU with a touch more resolution, it's still all about colour, scale and body, but with a slightly more contemporary feeling of detail and improved image precision, making it a great transition between more modern cartridges and the intriguing world of SPUs.
This cartridge is suited to arms that are moderate to high mass and have an 'SME' type headshell connection.
Due to their nature, there can be a lead time on SPU orders, so please ask before ordering if delivery time scale is critical.
As MC cartridges do not have removable stylus assemblies Ortofon have an 'exchange' scheme where your old worn/damaged Ortofon MC cartridge is used as a credit against any other Ortofon MC cartridge.
