The LS3/5A is an iconic speaker with superb pedigree. Considered by many to be one of the finest small speakers made, this designs roots can be traced back to the BBC who developed it for use in their outside broadcast vans in the early to mid 1970s. The design is licensed from the BBC to this day, ensuring performance and construction falls within tightly controlled specifications.

The sealed box design makes it ideal for close to wall positioning. The speaker has a warm and rich sound which can impressively precise stereo imagery thanks to the attention to the designs dispersion. Naturally lower bass is lacking, but it's ideal for use in smaller rooms where this is often desirable to avoid exciting the room resonances.

The cabinets are veneered in beautiful Palisander veneer, and are pleasingly retro in a way that can only have been dictated by the original design parameters.
