Ortofon SPU CLASSIC G E MK II MC Cartridge

The SPU Classic G E Mk2 is the joint third model up within the famous SPU range of cartridges. This takes the standard Classic G mk2 and replaces the nude spherical stylus with a nude elliptical. With this it brings a more contemporary level of detail retrieval and image precision.

Just like the Spherical version the sound still drips with colour and vibrancy, but there's perhaps a nod towards a more contemporary presentation, not quite a half way house to a 'modern' cartridge, but certainly heading in that direction. 

This cartridge is suited to arms that are moderate to high mass and have an 'SME' type headshell connection.
