Ortofon SPU MEISTER SILVER G MK II MC Cartridge

The SPU Meister Silver G Mk2 is the forth tier up in the range and takes the SPU to new levels of performance. Inside the generator (which produces a slightly higher output than the models beneath it in the range) are coils made from exceptionally fine silver. To further improve the purity of the sound there's a nude Elliptical diamond which is said to be more than 50% lighter than normal, less moving mass equals faster response and improved high frequency quality.

The result is a cartridge with a superb sense of the recording acoustic, coupled with the normal SPU vibrancy makes the reproduction even more believable and real as you feel you can hear the size of the venue precisely, and the performers become fixed entities within this illusion.

This cartridge is suited to arms that are moderate to high mass and have an 'SME' type headshell connection.
