The SPU Synergy G is the fifth tier up in the range and was introduced to be a slightly more modern take on the classic recipe.
There's higher output than the others in the range making amplification somewhat easier, and it tracks at a slightly lower tracking force too. A nude 'low mass' polished Elliptical diamond assembly is used.
This cartridge is suited to arms that are moderate to high mass and have an 'SME' type headshell connection.
Due to their nature, there can be a lead time on SPU orders, so please ask before ordering if delivery time scale is critical.
As MC cartridges do not have removable stylus assemblies Ortofon have an 'exchange' scheme where your old worn/damaged Ortofon MC cartridge is used as a credit against any other Ortofon MC cartridge.
