Pro-Ject Pick-It MC3 MC Cartridge

The Pick it MC3 is an all-purpose Moving Coil cartridge which Pro-Ject have voiced to deliver a powerful and dynamic sound optimised for pop and rock, but also for big orchestral classic - much like the classic Ortofon SPU sound that Pro-Ject were chasing.

The stylus is a Pro-Ject exclusive profile that they call a Hyper-Spherical, which presents a greater contact area to the record grooves compared to a regular spherical profile and is especially good with older and well worn vinyl. The stylus is bonded on a cryogenically treated aluminium cantilever and combined with 99.9999% pure copper coils. The magnet assembly uses ARMCO pure iron pole pieces. All of this is contained within an Aluminium body whose shape makes for easy alignment and is combined with tapped threads for easy mounting into a tonearm. A stylus guard is included for when it's not in use.
