The Quad QC 24P is an all valve phono stage with switchable MM and MC capability. Housed in the wonderfully retro and compact Quad chassis finished in 'Lancaster Grey', this very well featured phono stage is great fun to listen to and offers excellent value for money.
The MC input runs via high quality internal step up transformers. Four long life 6111WA sub miniature dual triode tubes are used for the active stages, each in their own shielding cans to keep noise to a minimum.
There is a variable output (for those people that want to run directly into a power amplifier) controlled via a volume control on the fascia, as well as fixed outputs for more conventional setups. On the rear panel there’s the ability to adjust the overall sensitivity, making it suitable for almost all imaginable setups.
