These card spacers are supplied with all Rega turntables and are very useful when shipping their turntables safely.
This simple card spacer goes between the hub (aka sub platter) and the plinth and lifts the bearing assembly up slightly, meaning that there's no metal on metal contact at the ball bearing end. This protects against any damage to the stainless bearing shaft and the ball bearing itself. It also prevents the bearing spinning too.
If used with a full Rega packaging set it will also serve to brace the internal packaging in place as it was intended from the factory.
They are used on all versions of Rega turntables, both current models and historic ones.
