The Olympia is the fifth model up in the slightly confusingly named Oyster series of cartridges from Sumiko. This takes the successful Rainier recipe and tweaks the stylus assembly with changes including reducing the sized magnets which brings the moving mass down (at a slight reduction in output).

An Elliptical bonded diamond is used on a revised Aluminium cantilever.  Unusually at this price point it also features an Alnico magnet, which are prized for their natural and grain free character.

This cartridge can also be downgraded by fitting the Rainier stylus, and upgraded by fitting the Moonstone and Wellfleet stylus assemblies (as well as play 78 records with the RS78 stylus).
